The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's service organization, founded in 1882 and based on the four principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. There are currently 1.7 million Knights in over 12,000 local councils in 12 countries, including 62 councils in the Archdiocese of Ottawa.
St. Patrick's Council 11271 was formed in St. Patrick's Parish, Fallowfield Nepean Ontario. Our active council carries out a program of service activities focused on providing support to the church, community, family and youth, as well as our own council members.Being a Knight is about helping others and enjoying the company of brother Knights and their families. Knights devote time to organizing activities and raising funds, all with the aim of helping others. The most important benefit is the joyous feeling that Knights and their families get when they make a positive difference in the lives of others. St. Patrick's Council holds its General Business Meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at the Parish Centre. The Council Executive meets on the third Tuesday evening of each month.
